Of course you can join. We don't really use its messaging facilities. We just use this to be a part of the Meetup social network.

So check out the meetup group page and join up. This is a good way to RSVP for stuff, but please note that our regulars don't always RSVP, so you can expect more than a few people on the J. Gilligan's nights, and even at the business meetings.
