Spring Equinox Party 2000

Well, the party is history, and a good time was had by all. The burgers were great, the snacks were plentiful, and Alice's skill at foosball left everyone else in the dust. The surprise hit of the party, though, was an appearance by Robert Tilton. Co-chair John Hattan brought along a tape of Tilton doing his old fire and brimstone number, only with bodily noises dubbed in at key moments. The tape pretty-much brought the house down, and it warranted making an encore appearance later for the folks who showed up late.

The easiest way to find Hogan's place is to look for the giant concrete hippo by the pond.
Once you see the hippo, you know you're there!

Lots of regulars there, along with some new faces (from left to right: Scott, John, Linda, Matthew, and Bill)

Our senior member, Eleanor Eastman, made an appearance

There were always a dozen conversations going on in addition to the burgers, chips, and videos.

Of course, our present and past Texas state directors were there. Randy (right) was, as usual, wearing the latest in fish-parody fashions.

Here's Shelly and one of the new faces at the party, Shane, chatting it up.

Here are three of the biggest mouths at the party. These ones on top are your co-chairs, John and Shelly Hattan.

Hope to see you for the next party. Hopefully the pool will be open for the next one!
